Z3 odometer light fail

Hi

My Z3 odometer illumination light has gone out the service indicator and all other cluster lights are ok. Anyone know if this is just a bulb gone.

Are any/all the other dials lighting up Fred, if so most likely just a bulb.

Happened to mine, very likely one of the little black bulbs.

Silly question @Fred Halsey but have you twisted your light switch by mistake, the light switch has a rheostat in it and by twisting you can change the speedo illumination.

that's why it spins!, I was wondering about that the other day though I don't go out in it when its dark so I'd never know if it works at least now I know why

Thanks for your replies mechanic told me it was a banded cable that stopped the odometer display showing the milage but will try the bulb first

For the Odometer and Trip I bought 2 bulbs from E-Bay. A lot cheaper than BMW.

I think I paid 5 for the odometer bulb from BMW, I've no doubt the bulb has failed.
