Thanks to those of you who helped me to identify this as being made by Automax. It came on my latest project but I've decided I'd rather have the money for it to go into the car's repair pot. I simply don't drive fast enough to ever reap the benefit of it. I pootle.
@Lee recalls these as being about £120 new but I don't think they've been made for some years. It's a nice looking bit of kit and well-engineered. I would guess it might be £140-£150 if made now.
Looking for £70 plus £10 postage.
