Reluctantly up for sale is my wifes 2.8 Z3. She has owned it for 5 years and it has been cherished. It goes into the garage in October and emerges at Easter every year we have owned it,so it hasn't seen salty roads in our ownership.
Lots and lots of service history, most recent being 3 weeks ago along with the fresh MOT. Vast majority of MOT certificates included to prove mileage

Very high spec car which includes:
Heated leather seats, cold air conditioning, Harmon Kardon speaker system with Sony headunit with bluetooth.
Chrome pack from the factory which includes the side gills. Factory floor mats in really good condition

Tyres are about 6000 miles old, battery about a year old. electric Soft top about 3yrs old which works fine.

Runs and drives very well with the beautiful straight 6 noise.

Factory hard top included with stand to put it on when its stored. Also included is the mesh wind deflector and the cloth sheet to cover the rear windscreen when folding the roof down.

The tool kit is so original, it still has the sealed bag to store a wheel in to save getting dirty when you have to take the wheel off.

Only selling as each year it gets less and less use. last year saw only 1000 miles and its a shame to see it sat there.

Price :
£2400 for the car, £3000 for the car with the roof/fixings/stand. £700 for the roof/fixings and stand.

Collection from Coventry

Green was my first choice of colour when looking for a Z3. I will buy the hard top and fixing kit off you for £500 so the nett price is reduced further, I'm good like that.

I’ve had no enquiries at all. Not even any questions.

Is it too expensive, too cheap, what’s everyone’s opinion?

Before being on here, it was on EBay but I only got stupid questions, offers and got messed around by total idiots.
Now it’s here and on gumtree.

To be fair gumtree is the worst, but there really is no chance of selling a car without having numpties saying. “I offer you £500”. I even had someone send me a message saying, “hey F****R I ask you question”. Unavoidable unless you only sell on the forum!

Connor.

There's nothing wrong with your price. That's a lot of car for the money you're asking. I had already agreed a deal to buy another car from another forum member before you posted this advert otherwise I would most likely have bought it.

Just hang in there and it'll go

Price is bang on IMO, the problem is the mileage, we all know 118k is nothing for the 6 pot however there is an issue in the UK when cars hit 100k, hang in there, I'm sure someone will come along.

I have never messed about selling cars online, used to stick them on my mates garage forecourt with an asking price and let him do the foot work, if he put them online, so be it.

We are having the same problem with our one!! Silly offers...........rude people......we are just hanging on as we know the cars are worth it and someone will come along sooner or later.........we have no pressure to sell the car either.......it is a spare one really........we use it when one of the others is having work done etc......have tried Autotrader but did not get one call!!!!

It is NOT to dear. I would remove the hardtop and sell the car on its own. Don't drop your price it's worth all of that and a bit more in my eyes. People advertise cars on here but you have to remember that most looking on here already own a zed so unless they are after an upgrade it's not going to sell here. @hard top is right, if you know anyone that owns a forecourt give it to them and tell them what you would like returning. If you don't nip round a few locals and ask if they would like to sell it for you on a no sale no fee basis.

Thank you everyone who commented. The car is now sold (not to anyone on here).

I don't know how to change the 'for sale' logo on the thread to 'sold'.
