Hello forum. I took the plunge and i managed to win a Z3M at auction, however i only have 1 space in my garage for a car, so the car that started all of this for me has to go.
The specs are:
BMW Z3, 2.2L, Straight 6, M54 engine, Sports edition, Titan Silver, manual
Built 30th May 2002 (one of the last, production ceased in June 2002)
Currently just under 39,000 miles
- Heated, electric adjustment Sports seats
- BMW CD Player
- Bluetooth integration (Denison)
- Electric Roof
- Power Mirrors
- Remote central locking
- 2 keys + Service key
- Original M Sport light up gear knob
- Blue and Black leather interior
- BMW premium sound system (BMW subwoofer)
- On Board Computer (trip, MPG, Temp, Time)
- Cruise Control
- 17” Alloys
- 2 rear tyres fitted 2k miles ago
- Front fog lights
- Original black soft top roof
- M Sport suspension (factory)
- BMW polished tips for exhaust
- Recent Brembo brake pads fitted to rear, new front pads included with sale but not installed
- Full BMW Specialist service March 2017, annual oil change since then before winter storage
- Auxiliary belt changed May 2017
- New ABS module fitted July 2017 with lifetime warranty
- LSD Differential oil changed November 2018
- Rocker gasket changed January 2019
- Garage stored, only driven March to September in my ownership and on dry days
Bad points
- Passenger seat has slight rip in bottom, quoted £180 for repair which includes full leather re-dye to whole interior
- Drivers seat heated seat only works on back, not bottom
- Alloys could do with being refurbished, quoted £240 to do so
- Front bumper has some scratches, quoted £300 to respray
- I have collected some of the history of the car, however prior to me, service history is unknown, however the car appears to have been well taken care of.
I also have with the car, however i might keep them, unless i get the full asking price, the:
- Original Tonneau cover
- Original Wind deflector
- BMW Rear Screen protector
