Z3 2.0 What to look out for

Hi all looking at 2000 facelift 2.0 Z3 with 99,000 miles, is the engine as strong as the m44? Anything to look out for, how much to replace the Vanos Seals if need be (at a garage). Many thanks Nick

Personally, having had a 2.0 I would go for a 2.2. Same sweet 6 pot but more bang for your buck!
