Yesterday, a pair of red French Z1's with the obligatory tops down and their distinctive yellow headlight covers M25/M3 southbound, they weren't hanging around so I guess they had a ferry departure in mind.

For a couple of minutes there were 3 of us before I turned off for Bisley with waves and head light flashes all round.

They are very interesting to ride in. If memory serves me right, they are basically an E30's running gear?

There use to be an ex BMW master tech who had a garage just outside Oxford city centre and he had a Z1 in Oxford Green (very similar to British Racing Green). He had done a full nut and bolt restoration on it, as well as a few "naughty" mods to improve it's power, sound and ride. Being a big lad (over 6'4") I felt really exposed in it, so once as a passenger was enough for me to get over my interest.
