Were both got a week off work
It's 17 degrees outside
But what are we doing ...........
Well what is Alan doing sanding the floor in the kitchen and hallway
Hopefully it will be done soon so we can have a day out somewhere

Hopefully the floor will be sanded today
Tomorrow the varnish will be going on , big clean up Thursday, hopefully out for meal Friday lunch time

I have been doing odd bits in the house like sorting filing cabinet and shredding stuff. Today I thought that I would do the weeding, instead I am prevaricating by looking on here. Will go out shortly as the sun has come out.x

I know when Richard ( Macca ) had a heart attack last year he had six weeks off and was going stir crazy.

Same here Shelly, have a couple of weeks between old job ending and new job starting so making the most of my last few weekdays with Matthew. Hope you had a nice relaxing day; we've had a man here doing our cavity wall insulation all day so we're enjoying the peace and quiet!

I know you'll say poor old you but, the 3rd week of out hols we stayed in another villa as ours was rented out that week. Unfortunately 2 houses down the road that villa was having a new roof put on, and it's all hammer and nail gun work. It reminded me of the Captain Sensible song " What "

We're fed up with packing, Solicitors and Estate Agents, Shelly, so impromptu, we are meeting up with Shaun and Karen today (27th) at Sandringham for Lunch at 12.30, as you and Alan are off for the week, would be good if you could join us

Hang in there Grump, get that first one out of the way and hopefully you'll feel much better and can build yourself up for the next round. And it is so boring I agree. Must drive you crazy watching all those vehicles in and out of the Golden Arches! JIM

But Alan is still sanding the floor today just round the edges ........
And then putting the 1st coat of varnish on
We're hoping to go out for lunch tomorrow
As we can't have anyone walking on the floor with out socks as it bear wood and were frightened of spills etc so we're need to get it done
