Tron Z3? Could look awesome with the right colour combo. All the rage in Japan and common in the states just not over here in sensible, tasteful Europe. Acquired taste but still pretty cool.

I don’t think I would have the heart to drill into new back plates. I like it but think the novelty would wear off pretty quickly.
