hi all can anyone tell me if there is a cheaper solution to a total refurb of leather seats ive been quoted £450
A seat ive heard there could be a oem seat cover replacement if so does anyone know were any how much

What seats are they, OEM seat covers are a fortune, sports base alone is £350 it can be done as a DIY, I did mine

As Sean says its a dying process, sean being a painter painted his mine where done by hand but much the same process.

You wont go wrong with Furniture Clinic stuff, since doing mine I have had the seat cover off to replace the heat pad,

Just started to do mine. Got all my stuff from furniture clinic although others out there. There are some good tutorials on Youtube i also got a 2 page instruction sheet with my pack of goodies which is in plain english and easy to follow.

I priced my seat leather covers not long after i got my zed
I'd have been cheaper buying another zed

To replace the base and back leather cover black full nappa with lemon piping ( might as well get that in to maybe justify the price a bit ) £932 inc vat as side £1834 the pair (special order) from Sopers big time ouch !!

I was very fortunate to find new leathers in green for my car on eBay UK for £50 plus shipping. But I doubt if you would be as fortunate. Keep checking though because you never know. If they are in decent shape I'd do the same as others have and dye them whichever way you wish colour wise. Good luck! JIM

Dave I've seen your interior trim. unusual in a zed but actually quite nice gives the interior a whole different ambiance.

As nice as they might look...I can't imagine how dusty they get after a few miles with the top down...

Never had a problem keeping it clean with or without roof
Just wipes clean of anything if needed
Very similar in feel to suede but doesn't stain or at least hasn't yet
