I've just purchased a clown horn (lol) from boomblasters.com and while I for it to arrive I would like to figure out how I am going to wire it. It has its own button that I want to install close to the steering wheel. I know I need a 12v positive connection and to use a fuse, but since the battery is in the trunk, I know I will probably have to tap into an existing 12v connection somewhere. What would be the best place to do this, and could I possibly tap into the existing horn wire without one of the buttons triggering both horns?

One of these in the fuse-box will give you live, just don't use one of the more heavily loaded circuits, depending on what options are fitted you may have several redundant fuses anyway.

for anyone that does this in the future, I've gotten it working using this setup: fuse tap in the #24 mirror adjustment fuse, black wire from horn to ground, red wire from fuse tap to horn, yellow wire from horn to momentary switch, red wire from momentary switch back into the fuse tap. wires from the button were routed through a drilled hole in the plasti backing of the fusebox, just above the plastic foot rest. fuse box had to be unscrewed and lifted to pull wires through, and openings had to be cut for wires.
