Probably a silly time of the year to buy a Z4 roadster but what the hell. So a question for you all. Do any of you use an outside cover for your pride and joy, if so any particular type or manufacture.

Up until September I had a caravan and I used to put a breathable cover over it for the winter. Elasticated base with a few straps to hold it on. The same type of thing is available for cars so just wondering what those of you who dont have garage space do to protect during the winter.

Pros and cons for doing and not doing. A cover keeps bird s*** off an UV's down. That said the UV index is low over winter anyway.
I don't think it does much if anything for rust protection.
Some protection from things or people brushing past it. IMHO a garage is the best option if you can. Preferably dehumidified or a Carcoon/Air Chamber or both. I know folk that use a dehumidifier inside a Carcoon!
