Big thanks to @Synclare for coming up trumps with my new wing mirror. A great job I must say. Team Zorg at its best

:thankyou:

Now it's just the minor job of getting the old one off and putting this one on. Looks a straightforward job, though I will be putting on my "man up and get on with it" jumper on

How hard can it be :wideyed:

Excellent Andy, all I need now is for Alan W to confirm he too is happy as he pipped you to the post on a pair. What I suggest you do (as I did on mine) is to 'copper slip' or grease the securing set screws that hold it on. Additionally coat the top face of the base with 'copper slip' / grease and plug the tops of the allen headed setscrews too. I would also dribble a little oil on the pivot at the base while it's lying on it's side to help it along when you pivot the mirror head around into it's correct position using a slight lifting up action to take the frictional load off the pivot. They're all off late model zeds. I'll PM you the payment details.
If you want any touch up paint for general chips on your car I can put some in a small bottle if you wish.
Pleased you're happy Andy.
Best regards, Adrian

Why didn't I think to drop a bit of oil in mine when I changed it! Simple things @Synclare, simple things......:banghead:
You know the say: "grease is half of the mechanic!" (But not on the brake pads though!)

It will only take a few minutes as long as you can get the old bolts undone in your old one and if you can get to the wires for the motor control.

Now just so you know you've done it right you should be looking in the mirror and seeing what you've just passed!!
