Have you every brought anything that is too big to fit in your Z :p
Well it happened to us today =))
We brought a microwave and couldn't get it in the boot ;)
How silly we felt taking all the packageing of the microwave in the car park ;)
But at least it just fitted in then , what a todo that was =))
But at least it gave people sometimes to smile about :)

I've heard a story like this recently, now who was it ..........?;)

Tony.

ps. I have a Big bag of compost at home and our Abbie wants me to bring it in to Lincoln tomorrow , so it looks like I will have a silent passenger in the morning because it sure won't fit in the boot!=))

Occasionally see people outside wickes or B&Q on a bank holiday trying to work out how they are going to get all the stuff they bought in the sale home with them. Quite entertaining!

A few years ago I went to DFS to buy a new sofa etc. and the sales man laughed out loud at me when I produced a scaled floor plan of our lounge on squared paper! You have now sense of scale whilst in these places.

After choosing the new furniture I then cut out to scale the settees, footrests etc and placed them on the plan to see if they would fit.

I could get three crates of 24 bottles of beer in the boot of my Z3.
The Smart was better though, 9 in the back and 3 in the front.
:D

That is called 'over engineered'
Ever heard of a 'tape measure'?
:D
A tape measure would work but you would not get a sense of scale in the room, (he says eagerly defending himself and trying to convince himself that it was a good thing to do :))

Sounds sensible to me Brian, but that's Shirl's department at our house, she does all the decorating and furnishing, I provide the transport. Unless it requires a lorry!:)
