Wheels size help!

Hi I’m currently looking at getting new wheels and trying to figure out how big is too big. The wheels I’m looking at getting are staggered at 18x9 offset 44 and 18x10 offset 38. Would those be too big for my 2001 z3 3.0i?

I believe both front and rear wheels at the sizes stated will sit beyond the fenders - by at least 10mm - I stand to be corrected by the more experienced members.

Try 8.5 / 9.5 : front / rear respectively.
