Wheel Spacers

Right puttinhg the finishing touches to my 1.9 pre face lift wide body conversion, i have one wing on now following waxoyl and under-seal, and have managed to measure the difference from the top of the wheel to the outer of the top of the wing, and i have measured 50mm, now the wing lip is 12mm, and the inner liner has 5mm to add to this for clearance, so i am guessing that i am looking for wheel spacers of about 30mm, can any one confirm this. especially if you have an //M and have fitted ET40 wheels to your car what spacer size did you use?

This is to get me on the road, i will be looking for some //M wheels or some nice seriously dished wheels next year following its re-spray, so looking to push my current wheels out until that time.

Just finishing off now, but here you can see the gap to be bridged in the short term while i sort out correct offset wheels:

Just the final bumper fixes to go on and then its a case of adjusting the shut lines, but most panels have gone on perfect. It was my intention to have the panels repaired and sprayed off line, how ever after numerous conversations and a visit to Fuzz Townshend the repairs will be done in situ with a full re spray at a competitive cost over the winter hibernation period.

Go for some M alloys will look B-)

Other wise you will need alloys that are M fitment...

Cades tyrus 18" in M fitment would good, there quite reasonable too

Thanks Liam,

I will have a look at those, I am also looking to track down some LM Reps with the correct or nearest offset.

But if I can get some //M wheels at the right price I will go down that route also
