So my buddy has some 17x8" rims with the 5x114 pattern. I'm trying to figure out if I can fit these using the wheel adapters.

So my current wheels are ET40, so 40 offset as I understand it.

The rims my buddy has are 48 offset, and I'm trying figure out what 15mm spacers(adapter thickness) and 48 offset would mean relative to my 40 offset stockers.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Pete

BMW Z3 Bolt Pattern is 5x120. Does the wheel adapter convert from 114 to 120??

Et48 plus a 15mm spaced will equate to an ET33 ok maybe for the rear too low for the front of a zed and they will stick out. As said you nedd 5x 120 so they will not fit anyway unfortunately :(

David it is a 5x120 to 5x114.3 adapter that is 15mm thick. Chatted with a guy at ECS Tuning and it said front might be okay with 235s, but the back was wide for the narrow back Zed. So, I'll be just putting some new rubber on for now, then maybe new wheels down the road. Thanks for the reply
