why is it called a glove box, i have never seen a pair of gloves in anyone's glove box. mine contains a half used tube of glue, a few old letters and err i think that's it, though my cubby hole thingy has become a man draw.

Not given this much thought, but, the glove box (and door pockets) on my Zed are minuscule compared to my landy. In my Zed I now have my code reader. It's now full. In the LR is everything else, and more! Gloves in door pocket. Driving gloves of course. Until yesterday the rubber gloves were in the boot. I'll now take the fifth....!
