Hi, I’m gonna get the alloys refurbed and I’m struggling to find a colour that I’m 100% on.
Any ideas to go on e89 Titan Silver MSport.
I have 18” (325s I think)
Thanks :coolsteer)

Yep they are 325Ms.

Silver, or silver would be my choice. At a push I would go for silver.

Just for info they would be 'reflex Silber II' from factory but BMW 'titanium silver' is an almost exact match and available everywhere much much cheaper.

Ha cheers, I know I keep going back to silver 😁 only other I’ve like is more of a silver chrome look but I think might look blingy.

Titan silver (or Silber in ze German) is the paint code for the car. Reflex is the colour for the wheels. Titanium (or titan) silver is a good match for wheels to reflex II (second generation).
Basically they are all silver!
Shadow chrome does look pretty good, but needs more paint as it is done in two stages.

If they are powder coated, it gives a lot more scope for funky colours. More cost but seem to be more durable.

If you go down the powder coating route, with shadow crome etc. you can specify the amount of silver they add. They'll usually have some demos for you to look at too. Would set it off imo

They look nice, the silver highlights compliment the black. When I said "ANTHING but black" I meant totally black. I would fit Shirl's 4 series M Sport rims if she'd let me.

I agree, to a point. Black wheels can look really good on certain cars, in certain colours and in certain finishes IMO.
The problem with black is that it washes out every detail, so from a distance they all look the same; ie just round things.

I bought a set of matt black wheels for my old F33, even though I'm not a fan of black wheels. The wheel style just needed to be black. They looked good IMO but still not the best on a Mineral Grey car.IMG_8776.JPG

Black look great until the first time you kerb them..then they just let the whole car down. At least with silver you don’t notice so much

I,m scared to death of curbing a rim, the things are over a grand, each...So if you see a Z3 parked 4 feet from the curb, it,s probably mine... =))
