Ho do they read now then little Chap?ordered some new plates off ebay last week, they finaly arrived and opps i forgot to put the space between the first part on the numbers and the second so now i have an illegal plate
why would i do that yes ok some people do in order to take advantage of personalized plates but mine is a normal plate, my original was smashed and everytime the car goes for its mot i get an advisory for it. though i would save some pennies by ordering it through ebay (yes it was £30 cheaper than halfords) but because i forgot the space they haven't put the bs or makers mark on it either. Are you sure you didn't do it accidentally on purpose?
That's a fair point Tony, they could and should have checked with you really before making them.If you bought them off eBay you can send them back. If they don't know how to make road legal plates it's their hard luck.
Tony.
I've been getting an advisory for the plate on the LR for a few years where I've had the MOTs done - the numbers/charcaters are a little faded but readable. This year, it was done somewhere else and no advisory.why would i do that yes ok some people do in order to take advantage of personalized plates but mine is a normal plate, my original was smashed and everytime the car goes for its mot i get an advisory for it. though i would save some pennies by ordering it through ebay (yes it was £30 cheaper than halfords) but because i forgot the space they haven't put the bs or makers mark on it either.
not really no. been thinking, (yes i know thinking is dangerous) but if i buy another set - legal set from the same seller it would still be £20 cheaper than halfordsI would take a chance on them, it's not too obvious, is it?
