Seeing as @GazHyde is starting up a casual Friday tomorrow, I thought I would start up a serious Thursday.
What are your opinions on this? Good or Bad? What are the Russians looking for down there?
Did Vlad just sit back for all these years just to see what would emerge from the mess started by the USA and us?
My thoughts at the moment are that it was about time ISIS were targeted by ground troops but why the Russians?

Have the Russians sent in ground troops? Why is the UK sending 100, yes 100 military personnel (troops?) to Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Putin is doing whatever he likes because he knows Obama hasn't got the b---s to stand up to him. Fuel just went up 15 cents here over night, does that mean the American's new best mate Iraq doesn't like them as much as Russia?

If Putin was targeting Isis i would support him but the news reports say he's actually assisting Assad and his army and not bombing any where near the Isis strong holds
I think Putin just see's it as an excuse to play with his big war ships and planes without being seriously challenged.

Russia has sent fearsome teams of special forces into Syria to help prop up President Bashar Al Assad, it has been reported.
Vlad Putiin's crack Spetsnaz units are said to be preparing a ground assault on rebels fighting the Syrian President – most of whom are backed by the West.
They have been ordered to wipe out opponents 'by any means'.

The way it's reported is that the Russian air strikes are targeting the anti Assad rebels backed by the " coalition" so that Assad's troop might beat them. They're not attacking ISIS as such only rarely hitting ISIS targets to give their actions some credibility.

When I got back from the UK, I really hated to send you guys this, but I really don't understand the differences. It must be taxes. Remember, that this is the price for a US GALLON, NOT IMPERIAL GALLON. Yep, and you have to go and pay for your fuel before going back to the vehicle and pumping it into your car. Shirl goes in and gives the person $50 and says " He want to fill it " and waits in the shop and usually gets some change.

In the US, you can pump your own gas. You used to pump it then go and pay for it. But, as always the case, a few make it bad for the many. Some people used to skip out without paying so now you must pay first, Difficult thing to do if you're filling it up. You have to do what Tony just said to do. Now, though, most of the pumps have credit card applications and its easier. Now, here's the bi*** of it. There are only TWO STATES IN THE COUNTRY THAT DON'T ALLOW YOU TO PUMP YOUR OWN GAS, NEW JERSEY AND OREGON. WHY???????????????????. What a pain in the b***s. Frankie
