Am I missing something here?
Checked the ULEZ charges for my e89 and apparently it will be charged, requirements are Euro 4 or later, the e89 is Euro 5. TFL when contacted they said the charges are derived from DVLA data and DVLA need to update their data, but hang on, DVLA issued my V5c some years ago that states its a Euro 5 engine so surely the DVLA database is up to date. TFL then suggested that I send a copy of all 4 pages to them, WHY? apparently they have access to the DVLA database and will have the necessary info.

Also checked for Bristol and there's no charge there for the old girl, Bristol must be on the ball.

Being just a simple country lad I am confused.

i hate the stupid idea, its toxic but pay for it and that toxic waste turns to nice green british pounds..... i agree, i see it as a no entry sign.

but what get me the most is, if you accidentally drive into it,
1) and turn around immediately, they still charge you
2) you cant find out on line (TFL) where you accesses and where you didnt
3) its just bull$hit
