XtremeAuto® CAR VAN TYRE TIRE PUNCTURE REPAIR KIT WITH 10 STRIPS
Hi
Spotted this on Amazon and wondered if anybody has tried this kit as an alternative to tyre weld in case of a puncture ? Was thinking of getting one of these and a mini compressor could then do temp repair at roadside , kit comes with plugs and tools to fit .save the missus sharing front seat with damaged wheel

Had never considered what to do with the flat tire. Makes sense that it will not fit in the spare tire holder and there aren't too many other spots big enough to put it.

Has anyone ever considered ditching the spare tire and using the holder to store the small compressor and tire repair kits etc? Would need waterproof storage and made rattle proof.

I removed the whole lot, a tyre compressor and gunk doesn't take up much room in the boot.

Cheers Guys
Reason for going with this is that the tyre could be repaired professionally and used again and if using gunk (correct me if wrong)
tyre would need replacing

Is a myth, perpetuated by people who would rather sell tyres than clean the "gunk" out.;)
