Trip to France

Just returned from France. Organised five day trip for a group of like minded classic car enthusiasts touring the Champagne region. Everything from a Healey 3000 to a 60's Mustang. Left them and headed south to catch up with my old navigator near Carcassone. Travelled down through the Auvergne and some stunning scenery and driving roads. Had to include Millau. A total of over 2000miles, the first real trip in the Z3. never missed a beat in 10 days of motoring. Now planning next trip.

Yes, there are some lovely driving roads this side of the English Channel. We're currently in Slenaken in south Netherlands having stayed an extra day after the Limborit. Tomorrow we're heading up to Dunkirk and staying overnight and then travelling home to Cornwall on Wednesday.

On my return on Saturday I passed through Tunbridge Wells and saw some Dutch Z3's obviously on an organised run in the UK.

No, I went in another Zed. The repaired car has only covered 250 miles since the rebuild and I want to run her in for at least 1000 miles before she's fully recovered. She's running nice though at the moment.

Six cars in total. A few random pictures including wall murals from the old circuit at Reims. Some in the Champagne region.
Mine the only Z. All these guys used to do a charity tour in aid of two cancer charities about this time of year which has now finished. So I decided to arrange something on a much smaller scale. Six cars not 60!
