I have a CTek MXS 5.0. Highly recommended, but a little pricey. I also purchased the extension that plugs into the lighter socket to make it easier to connect.

I think mine is called "Oxford" ? I've had it years but can't think where I had it from. You can switch charge rates from cars to bikes.

I have a Ctek MSX 5.0 not cheap but excellent for maintaining a battery over the winter.

Just bought a CTEK charger - I having to use with an extension lead but the green LED light flashes after a bit indicating its not charging and has gone into power save mode.
Does the negative lead get fixed to the body of the car or the negative terminal like normal battery chargers? The manual isn't very clear!

I don't have a CTEC but would think the unit has to be attached to the negative terminal in order for it to work. Attaching to the vehicle is used while jump starting from another vehicle. HTH. JIM

Stick it straight on the battery @Rambling, either by the crocodile clips or the spade connectors supplied. Take the bulb out of the boot if you need to.
