I'm selling my R Reg (1997) 1.9 4 cylinder BMW Z3
I've owned for a couple of years, made lots of improvements (in my opinion) and have done a couple of track days in her.
Just had MOT done, expires 13th April 2018
On Ebay for £1995 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162487820791?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
On Gumtree for £1750 https://www.gumtree.com/p/bmw/bmw-z...over-suspension-1-year-mot-history/1238056709
To a forum member I'd consider offers near £1700
I'm no car salesman, I break a few Z3 and work full time in a field nothing to do with cars, the Z3 thing is a pure hobby.
Just had an oil and air filter service, with new passenger's side rear metal brake line replaced and the handbrake cable on the same side. Driver's side from lollypop/drive control arm replaced too before the MOT.
2 keys a folder full of service info, service book stamped by BMW until 131,838 - 18th Mach 2013 (14 stamps in total)
153k miles
Replacement blue roof - water tight
Upgraded brakes (6 cylinder with vented discs and yellow stuff pads)
Roll Hoops retro fitted - panels and storage boxes in carbon effect vinyl wrap as the panels are beige
underneath
Braided front brake hoses
New clutch (less than a year ago)
Braided clutch hose
Battery under Euro Car Parts warranty until 12th June 2019
Decent stereo
ST Coilovers - made by KW, makes the handling and stance/ride height excellent - adjustable to your taste
Both seats had new 'anti-rock' Bushes fitted
Front wheels have spacers fitted (and longer bolts) to clear the adjustable suspension
CRUISE CONTROL - works brilliantly
Clear perspex wind deflector
Good tyres all round - Nexen around 5or6mm tread left
Body panels in excellent condition - bonnet and driver's side lower front wing have some marks, but for the age of the car in great condition
Sadly the driver's seat base has come apart slightly, the wheels have some signs of corrosion, but are not significantly kerb damaged
Car is currently Sorn
You are encouraged to come and view and test drive (with suitable, evidenced, insurance)
I have a journal of the vehicle here https://zroadster.org/threads/the-track-journey-begins.12647/
Any questions please ask
Car is in Woking, Surrey, Near junction 10 of M25
Loads of photos (good and bad) available if a buyer is interested.
Thanks
