Parked in a layby on the A684 today and this chap pulled in. Had a brief chat, made 1978 and registered 1980 (Works car for 2 years), only 59k miles on the clock :woot: Right hand drive and one of only 20 in the Country, he said. 3.5 V8 and good for 140mph (I should coco). Sounded immense when he pulled off. Could do with a mop and polish but no rust.

Nice car, begs the question; ‘what were you doing in a lay by, that made a man come and introduce himself?’

Yep the 3.5 V8 easily good for 140mph, BUT the rest of the car isn't, :wideyed: lets not forget its a BL car. If you have ever driven a TR7/8 you would know how bad they handle. You would need to be brave, stupid or suicidal to attempt it. =))
