..... Fuel economy. Drove down to Street in Somerset to see my old dear (not seen her since the onset of COVID-19). Took the Yeti as she needed a good run out (1.2 Turbo). Her daily life is the school run and shopping so 2-3 mile short trips, topped up and the OBC said range 335m (based on previous running around). Ventured out into the BMW Lane for 6hrs and topping up on the way back, OBC said range 545m! Used 1/4 of a tank less on the way back with a higher average speed too. Carbon blown well and truly out, 37.1 mpg down and 42.3 mpg on the way back. A happy car is a driven car.

Yes agree once they're up to temperature fuel economy vastly improves. Our 530d doesn't like pottering low 30's knocking about but recent trip to London including the 15 miles in town obc said 48mpg so well pleased.

Yes agree once they're up to temperature fuel economy vastly improves. Our 530d doesn't like pottering low 30's knocking about but recent trip to London including the 15 miles in town obc said 48mpg so well pleased.
Feels like a new car having had the shackles removed.
