I got a phone call from a friend today asking if I would like to go for a drive with him in a Jaguar. I leapt at the chance considering it is one of these:

Check out Maverick:

This is just before we started taxing:

Neither aircraft are airworthy, just used for taxing practice. My mate started it and got it moving then gave me control, the 248 BHP in my Z3 seemed a bit feeble in comparison. One of the coolest things I've done this year! :coolsteer)

Awesome. When I was a secondary school I was in the RAF section of the CCF. We went on a couple of RAF camps, and I got to refuel a Jaguar. It was rather scary what they would let a 15 year old do back then...

BTW: If you sit in the back you are "Goose". The similarity between the two of you is frightening :D

Pete, I remember Brett Maverick from way back in my youth. As you're a lot younger than me I thought maybe James Rockford was nearer your era. :D

Good likeness though.
