...thank you for the cheerful flash of your lights as a friendly hello! To which I responded with a huge wave and a grin :D:p

That's the first fellow zeddie that ive passed on the n.yorks road that's given me a smile/wave back! I think usually they just think 'who's that crazy woman waving like a lunatic at me?!' Hehehe ;)

I hope they're members on here too!!
If any of you ever pass me, don't forget to give me your biggest smile! :D:D:D

Its good to see some one else that waves or flashes there lights at other Z's on the road but as you say they just look at you as if you'r out on day release. I saw 3 other Z3's on Saturday in the Derbyshire Dales,i gave a freindly wave to them all but just got vacant stare's back :meh:.Hope the couple you saw are on here :).

Yeh my day release times were finished ages ago....i'm aloud out for a week at a time now:playful:.....only joking. It does make your day when you get a wave back as you said . Sounds like you use your Z for what its made for, geting out and enjoying life.So if i see a black Z3 with the driver waving and a big grin on there face in the future i'l know who it is =))

If I ever see another zed here I'll for sure be waving. Chances are it'll just be my wife once TOO is ready for export. Only way I could see another zed around here was to buy another one. But Trinity and I have fun anyway!! lol JIM

We'll be "oop norf" this weekend. Staying in Harrogate for a couple of nights and then moving on to York.

Going on a rideout to Whitby and Scarborough and will stop off at the "Aidensfield Arms" for a freshener

Well watch out for the local cops in their mini vans and Ford Anglia's then. Specially that Sgt. Blaketon, a right mardy old bugger!

Up to a point Jim I'll agree, but I was definitely not amused just now when a guy in what I think was a sprite pulled out of a side road in front of me then crawled away. I had to brake from 60 to 20 or less in a very short space. The annoying thing is that IF he'd had a GOOD look there was at least a half mile of clear road behind me, so why the F##K could he not wait ?:(:(

Tony.

ps. If I can get the clip off my dash cam I'll put it on YouTube.

Waving it's a state of mind.:)
It's like saying hello; if the other side doesn't react, it's his problem!:D
I did and I'll do it all the time.
The Zed runs better after waving (friendly flashing)...;)
@Jim I have in mind the same idea: to get a second Zed for one of my sons and ride together. Like this both enjoy a beautiful car in front of him or in the rear view mirror!

Some people are just in a world of their own and screw everyone else. They obviously were not in a hurry to get somewhere just in a world of their own. Good thing is you were on your game!! JIM

Sounds like a great idea @Zeti it will be different to see the front and rear on the move of another zed. Good luck with your search and your son is a lucky fellow for sure!! JIM

Lucky man, I've been sweating my nuts off in the garage tonight. Followed by cool shower and a couple of cans of Magners, to start with.......

A man after my own Steve. Upstairs at work is the tyre store and it gets like that too, the tea room and loo is up there and we try to avoid going up there if we can. In my "office" now with fan running, window open, and just starting to cool down. Sometimes after working into the evening I go for a run locally without a shirt to cool off. :)I wouldn't want to do that on a motor bike.

Tony.
