Hi, a couple of months ago was woken by my Z3 alarm going off and hazards flashing, not a great moment to do that as lashing it down with rain. Easy solution at that time was to disconnect the battery. A few days later discovered central locking not working (passenger door dead locked) and windows not opening. Reconnect battery and alarm clicking intermittently. More on than off.
Recently discovered what believe the source of problem to be, tilt immobiliser module in the boot. Module appears green as if submerged in water and connector corroded on to module. At least one pin corroded and couple of wires broke. So I'm in need of an immobiliser module and connector block. (Preferably with wires attached). Not sure how interchangeable they are between models.
The serial number on the module is 55892110, My car is a 2001 2.2.

I'd appreciate any help in sourcing one, if somebody has a breaking Z3 or a contact for where I might find one.

Thanks in advance.
Karl

Central locking problem may be down to boot lid loom going bad with broken wires, strip it back and inspect the wires. Same symptoms on another members car was down to this. Search boot loom of doom for info and pictures.
