two near misses.....one was waiting at a island only a small one could see all around it, plenty of traffic any way when it was clear pulled out only to be confronted with a guy on a racing bike came out of no were, i had only just got my nose out and all i could see was a bike going to be embedded into my wing, as the gods was looking over me he hit his brakes as slid into my car resting his hand on my bonnet, i then asked were did you come from, he apologized as he was weaving through the traffic and did not stop at the island, he just rode off to the annoyance of the other drivers, at least i felt better in knowing it was not my fault, miss 2... parking my car in the garage i always reverse it in, i had left something on the floor and caught it with the back wheel, no problem no harm done pulled away, got out to move it my drive slopes forward, have you guessed yet, with my back to the car l just felt some thing was wrong turned around to watch my car roll forward across the road, on the other side is a house that as a sloping garden poss, a 6ft slope, hit the curb bounce up in the air and i thought this is it if it goes down that slope it will hit the house and right the car off, hit the curb then rolled back, by this time i was in the car well hanging over the door holding onto the hand brake, and all was well no damage that was my first lesson on how bad bmw hand brakes are, and yes i do leave it in gear but the engine was running any was that was the second and odin was once again looking after me so iam not taking any chances iam locking my car away for the next 10 years
