ok folks here is what happened, it was midlifescrisis idea to go up fish hill, he knew it was coming, you need momentum and be in the right gear to make good the hill, it will make little if any difference how much horse power you have if your not expecting it, you will be on your back foot right to the top. so if you got humbled by a yaris, dont feel too bad, it was a trick:)
oh yes and the corners are tighter than they look, and if you have to lift for them then you have no chance as it will rob you of your momentum.

Shameful...in a actual M too!!
Unless that Yaris was running a Supra TT engine you had better hand your //M badge and license over to the //M police on the way out the door.
And don't forget your //M coat!

I know I'm shamed  But I should have demanded a look under the bonnet, his Zed is off the road and we were wondering where the engine is ;);)

The sodding Yaris went up the hill like a rocket.. Chased by @Oldguysrule @NODZED and myself... So that's a 2.8 a 3.2 and a 2.2... And it's got a 1.3... Has it hell... More like a 2.0 vvti from a celica I would say.

This happened to me once.. l was on a flat dual carriageway and went to overtake a tatty old lowered golf with two oiks in it.. l kicked down and and held my foot to the floor and when you kick down at at 70 my 2.8 auto has plenty of power (and scares the life out of me).. but this golf just suddenly took off and accelerated away from me leaving me standing. It was a boxy shape and far too early a year to be a VR6 but jesus did it go!!!

A chap called Iain Birch did some crazy things to Golfs and Polos.

Here's one I owned a few years ago.

For those of you who thought Fish Hill was a one off, here's a few shots of when we took it up Grossglockner pass in Austria 2 years ago and you'll be pleased to know the Zed is back on the road so you should be able to keep up next time.
