The New Forest Run 15th April 2018.

Ok Folks, the annual New Forest run is back for its forth year.

The route will be a little different and ending in a very nice place too in the north of the Forest.

A lovely Sunday drive through the New Forest and great views as we go at a nice slower pace.

If you are not on the list or you are not now looking at joining us, please can you PM me as soon as possible. thank you.

Our end point is the Sir Walter Tyrrell. It is one of the only decent car parks that we can all fit into. It will be a little bit of double parking and in lines, so if you need to escape early please make sure you let people know. Food wise the pub has a very nice easy menu. We will not be able to sit en'mass as very few places would be able to cope with such a large group, but I am sure we will have fun.

Lets all hope for a good day. Now those requiring Sat Nav files, would you please access the MyRoute-App and then send me you email details on PM. I can then let you have access to the route file where you can download and install direct to your sat nav systems. Please note that if you use a Garmin, file type 1.0 will work as 1.1 seems to give you a straight line as the crow flies lines, not following any roads.

See you at Ower Services at 10am on the 15th April 2018. The first group will be leaving at 10.30 then at about 5/10 minute intervals for the remain groups.

I have four two-way walkie talkies that I'm happy to share if we need comms. I'll also have a ham radio license next month and I have a VHF/UHF hand held that should have a much farther reach if there are other radio amateurs.
