Fenders are for bending.. and actually english Fenders are a guitar.. sorry Geeeee taaarrrrrrrr :ymdevil:=)) A wing is a body panel.. be it on a plane or a car.. lol.

@oldcarman I am ever so sorry .. Americans and Canadians are never from the same mould.. Bit like Aussies and Kiwis..

Around here it's both as French and English are both our official languages. In fact my boys are both fluent in French as is my granddaughter that goes to a French only school whereas the boys went to a French Immersion school. JIM

In fact, the 1835 source cited refers to a foreign-speaker: "Jonathan distinguishes a Dutch or a French Canadian, by the term Kanuk".

@oldcarman When I visited Toronto a few years back, The waitress had an amazing accent that sounded much more richer in tone than the french across the channel down here. They loved my quaint little English accent too. Such friendly people and very polite.

I will get back to Canada one day soon I am sure.
