the car leaves the factory, gets brought and is loved by its owner, this love lasts for 2-3 years then the owners head is turned by the next best thing and its all over for the now older car. car gets traded, new owner is pretty much the same as the first owner, this normally repeats itself 3 to 4 times. every new owner updating parts in an attempt to keep it current like new headlights fitted (normally taken from a facelift version of said car) maybe some carbon bling too, by now the car is about 10 years or more old, the price has now fallen low enough for it to fall into the clutches of younger owners, car now gets dropped to the floor, awfull paint job and neon's all round, alot of the trim has holes cut into it to fit various ICE items, its just a real mess. The car is now approaching 20 and looking real sad for itself and only fit for the scrapyard, but for some cars they are different, they become desirable again. something amassing happens to this car, it gets purchased by an enthusiast. This new owner spends an age reacquiring all the original parts it had as it rolled of the production line, the car has now gone full circle.;)

Car gets bought, loved, cleaned and maintained. :) Children and dog arrive, car goes on school run and supermarket runs.:arghh: Car on inside looks like a family of Pikey's have moved in,:wideyed: car on outside looks like a golf ball and has more scatches than a cat scratch tree. Car dies :(

Dad buys his own Z3 Roadster, no children, no dogs, no shopping trips and no Pikey's allowed in or anywhere near it.

So, you really didn't rate the Pepper pots then. Never liked them on the old Fords either.:)

its not that i didnt like them, i just liked the larger 18 better, to be fair - with the original ride height the thicker chunkier side walls look ok in a retro kind of way. i wouldnt go back though. were all guilty of modding our cars and to us its part of the ownership, but if these cars end up back to how they rolled off the line then did they get it right to start with?
