The test track doesn't seem too long though. maybe that's it's range on a full charge....

the potential of electric motors in cars is incredible!
I do understand that electric cars are the future, once they sorted out charging and distances.
But.... I will miss the sound of the internal combustion engine with a good exhaust. Future generations will miss out and never understand.

Some cars I have read, will get sound generators on them, not the same though is it?
Well, a couple of seasons ago when F1 downgraded engine size, they messed about with the exhaust systems to get a better sound.
Plus, if you are crossing the road on foot, you will not hear those electric things coming ....
I nearly got run over in Tesco by an Toyota Running on Electric mode.....didn’t make a sound.

When I was working down in China, the bloody electric mopeds that they have to use in the city's by government decree to try and cut down the smog (no chance by the way) are a pain in ass, you have got to have eyes in the back of your head.

Instead of tarmac roads scalextric type tech there used to be a slot racer type where you could over take safe the weight of the batteries then but the the government could regulate the power available to restricts speeds back to the drawing board
Electric cars replacing the internal combustion engine wholesale any time soon ......... Space, 1999. We're a long way off yet though hybrids are gathering momentum but still a 'cottage industry' by comparison at this moment in time.
At 52 I doubt I'll see the internal combustion engine completely eclipsed in my driving lifetime.

3 million quid for something made in the corner of a t-shirt factory, that didn't hit 60mph and was on racing slicks haha i bet there are a few orders though. Id rather have a tesla roadster for 250k which will accelerate just as fast if not faster, will most likely go alot further and you can actually use!
