I always used to give Bad Boy a hard time for doing that...i.e. no text.
As other members have stated, we are a friendly bunch on here compared to some forums and it is great to have some 'banter', as Bad Boy would say, and not just posts about 'what is the best windscreen wiper' etc.
When I join a forum I always read a lot of the posts first to get a 'feel' for what is or is not liked by the members of that forum and behave accordingly. Believe me, when a post, especially a first post, appears asking "what is my car worth" it can rub myself and a few other members up the wrong way. I think, personally, that the members who took the time to answer your questions prove the point that this is a very friendly place to be with some added banter.

My wife says my sense of humour is very barbed! And yes, I do like hard banter, I think it's fun. I guess though not everyone gets it.......................... Perhaps we need a separate banter thread section!
