We've all survived Christmas, so what are everyone's hopes and dreams for 2015? Obviously hanging up your ZRoadster calendar is taken for granted, along with world peace...

I'm keen to get the remaining work on Rosie sorted out and get her looking the best, and get her in rehab to cure here oil drinking addiction!

Also really looking forward to getting stuck in to some exciting projects (announcements in January hopefully), and arranging/attending as many Zed meetups as I can!

It's a biggy, but I'm aiming for a new soft top some time this year if at all possible. Fund now standing at 350.:)

We'll be in York for at least 3 days, so there's every chance we could meet. I usually go, A30, M5, to Black Country where we stay overnight with family and then go A5, A38, M1 up to Leeds then on to York. While we're there we always pop into Scarborough and Whitby too. On our last trip to Whitby we stopped off at Goathlands and had a pitstop at Aidensfield Arms. Neither Gina or Oscar weren't in though

One of the drawbacks to living in mid Cornwall is that we are 100 miles from nearest motorway, but then again the A30 is a great road and is rarely very busy so the first hour of our journey can be covered at a leisurely pace ;)

We're not too far from the M1/A57 junction. Last time we had a caravan holiday on the Yorks. coast after I'd had a heart valve operation and couldn't fly for a few months, we went up to "Aidensfield" then across the moor to Whitby for fish and chips, they seem to taste better at the sea side.:) Didn't have the Z then, had an A4 estate. Shirl had a 56 plate MX5 and my plaything was an old Eunos, but we both had to go in the A4 as I wasn't allowed to drive for 3 months.

I've never driven in Europe but it's on my list of "things to do". Whenever we holiday abroad I always refrain from driving as I cover about 30000 miles a year in my job and another 10k in my own cars.
I've got a pal who moved to Italy and I'd love a drive to see him

Do it!! You'll love the trip and wonder why it took so long to take!! Driving anywhere in Europe is great but there are some spectacular roads you can take that literally take your breath away. Took a day trip years ago from Bavaria over the Alps into northern Italy on a secondary roadway. What sights to see!! JIM

Joan, Trinity and I have no specific vacation plans for the year yet. But Trinity the car will see it's new green roof go on ( we should talk About that T-tony) along with the new green leather seat upholstery. Still trying to decide on putting the ostrich beige inserts into the green in keeping with the door panels. Pretty sure I will but need to discuss it with my upholstery man. Oh, and get the hit and run damage to the nose done and put in the new grills that arrived a few days ago. Other than that, drive the new tires down to the wear bars. JIM

I bought my first Z3 back in 2009 (blimey, has it really been 5 years!) with the intention of heading off to Europe on a grand road trip. Just haven't got around to it yet. Hey ho, maybe next year...

I do around 35000 to 40000k driving a year with my company car. But it is completely different when you get behind the wheel of the Z you just want to do another 30k. When you do a euro drive you will wonder why it has taken you so long to do one. The different countries, towns and villages are just so nice to do. You find you have no stress as there are hardly any jams and the views whether you are in France, Italy, Switzerland,Spain or anywhere else are just fantastic. Our holidays have changed since we did our first euro trip. We used to go to places like Barbados, Gambia, Egypt etc and then have a weeks break in the Canaries over the winter period. Now we do a Euro cruise as our main hol and go to Majorca for a weeks break because now we can not stand the Hassle, stress and the uncomfortableness of flying. We can now stop and stretch our legs with views to die for anytime we want. We can eat anytime we want in great places usually with great views.
Once you do a euro trip you will more than likely want to do it again. From our experience though do not try and do and see too much in a short period otherwise you will feel let down, not by what you see but by the little time you have had to enjoy it
