I bought myself an electric guitar and a huge amplifier today, I thought at my age (60) it was about time I learned to play one. B-)
Judging by my efforts so far, on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being good and ten being terrible, by July I should be about 20. #-o

Use you tube mike and type in guitar lessons.. Theres loads on there and very good..
Keep at it, practice makes perfect

I've been practising for the last sixty years, but I've been trying to play the guitar for the last 6 hours! Six months may not be enough! \m/
