Spotted two in Telford. One around Trench on Friday and one today by Newport. Got a wave from both. One in Trench had a red roof...very nice!

If its you...say hello!

No black interior, roof was originally black. I have wrapped the console, doorcards and steering wheel tabs in carbon fibre vinyl to match the roof. I have some red leather dash parts in the loft but haven’t got them fitted yet. Have contemplated dying the seats to match the roof.

That picture made me realise how foggy the headlights are so just toothpasted them now they look clear and sparkly lol

New bonnet coming in the next few weeks when I can get down to Woking to get it then will concentrate on making her look good. Mechanically and structurally sound but was disheartened by what my ex did to her. Will spend more time on her again this year.

The red roof...i like it and I have the red interior. Can I dye my black roof or buy a new one? If I can dye it...advice someone please!

Thinking about wrapping parts inside in red too to make it more colour coded haha.

This has inspired me to stop sitting on my ass and actually make Betty look good again so thanks!

Never heard of anyone dying a roof and for the price you can get them for it’s not even worth trying. Mine was £300 from Jack Smiths in Swansea I think they are around £330 now. So for that it’s a brand new roof and window. Outstanding value and not had 1 bad review from the guys that have had one from him.

My headlights cloud up over time, polished them up last week so they look a little better now.

Don’t start looking through the forum for ideas you’ll forever be doing things with your zed :D
