I once went snow skiing in the Sierra Nevada, worst sunburn I've ever had!... Worst case of ice to ski on as well.

It looks brilliant fun. I've been scouring the web to see who does the trips. Interesting stuff as they do beginners courses.

I feel a few days away and a visit to a Spanish Hospital coming on!!

I've been quite a few times as I have a friend who organises track days at the race circuit and we have some really good routes but can be a little tricky.an organised tour is the way to go you won't be disappointed especially if you go in the winter when it's cold and wet here and hot and sunny there

Ever come across an old mucker of mine by the name of Paddy Wheeler?

He frequents the bike track days in that neck of the woods. Goes several times a year. I don't think he's done the off roading as far as I'm aware.

I couldn't do that!!!!! Mine aren't that big. My hat's off to you. Last year I took the bike to work. On the way home, I stopped at a sub store to get a sandwich. I got a whole one, about a foot and a half long. I took it with me. When I got outside I didn't know how to hold it and drive the bike (700 cc Yamaha maxim). I was wearing a windbreaker so I stuck it down the front of the windbreaker. The bottom of it stuck out the bottom of the windbreaker resting on the seat of the cycle. As I pulled out of the parking lot, the sub started to fall. Like a dope, instead of stopping the bike and let the sub fall and then pick it up, I tried to catch it as it fell. I lost my balance and fell over on my right side. The bike is set up so that your leg isn't crushed if you fall over, however, I couldn't pick the bike up enough while lying on my side to extract my leg. Meanwhile the gas starts leaking out from the filler cap. I turned the ignition off so there wouldn't be any sparks. Now you'd think a car would pass by or someone would come out of the sub shop. Nope. So I stayed in the street with the bike on top of me for about 5 minutes. I finally was able to pull my leg out from under the bike just as a friend of mine from work came out of the sub shop. He asked me if I was hurt and since I felt ok, I asked if he would help me pick up the bike since its over 600 pounds. As he came closer to me he looked shocked. I looked down and saw the street was covered with blood. I check my right leg and nothing was wrong. The bleeding was coming from my left leg and I couldn't understand from what since I had fallen on my right side. I picked up my left pant leg only to see a large gash below the knee with blood shooting out as a deep cut had nicked an artery. It seems that an edge to a metal cover over the left carb had caught my skin and ripped it open. Didn't even cut my pants. I insisted on driving home. My wife took me to the hospital. They gave me five stitches for tissue inside my leg and another 11 stitches on the outside skin. And all because I wanted an Italian Sub.

No never met him but I never ride the track .but if he rides with foucused events he will know my mate Steve Plater as he runs a lot of the European events. I've had I many chances to ride on circuit's but it would end up being another hobby I can't afford, and the off-roading is spectacular the amazing places that you get to
