offside rear Direction indicator slightly discoloured (1.4.A.2f)

arent these clear from the factory, if so get a new bulb, cheap as chips :)

rear Shock absorber has a light misting of oil both (2.7.3)

common and not urgent if just a light misting.

rear brake disc worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened (3.5.1i)

again not an issue, this is usually just a cosmetic thing.

rear Brake pipe slightly corroded off the rear flexi (3.6.B.2c)

sandpapar and some krust

slight oil leak

have to determine where but they are old cars now just think of it as free rustproofing

offside front Suspension arm has slight play in a pin/bush wishbone mount heavily split (2.4.G.2)

front suspension arms dont match

this is the bit that needs sorting really and might be costly.

Good news Stacey, :thumbsup:but look at the advisories as good advise cos that's exactly what they are and especially as this is no ordinary car, we all know the full potential of the "M" that's what makes this advise so good.
;)This is a great starting point for any new owners used car's first MOT.
Love your car even though you've never let me sit in it.:sour:...."......."........
Roy.

The first of many consecutive MOT passes once the minor advisories have been sorted - good job!

That's a result. It's a pass and keep you on the road. :)
The rear brake disc and suspension issues I expect are something that Martin would be looking at in time anyway. A weekend at the ZedShed I expect. Then another to sort the front. I'm sure there will be lots of willing hands to get the work done! ;)

Thanks everyone
Really pleased but not with the list :(
Just really happy I get to do the Parade lap in Sunny at the Silverstone Classic :D

I have asked for some extra help from the Zed Shed as It seems like @Mnbrennan could do with an extra pair of hands  hopefully I will get a chance to help (buying the pizza) :p and learn a few things myself

All very simple jobs, the brake pipe probably just needs a rub down and anti corrosive treatment. The only thing I would want to fix urgently is the front suspension arms. :)

I wouldn't be too disappointed with that list. All relatively straight forward fixes I would defer to winter maintenance. Enjoy the Summer in the meantime.

Cheers,

Jonno

Great news, not too bad I suppose, a nice little list to get through, changing the brake pipes will give you a good excuse to change the brake fluid too :)
