I am sorting out my house pre-move and rediscovered my old steering wheel that I took off when fitting my Royal. The wheel is in great condition so would be a good replacement for one that has seen better days, or to send in to have recovered. If anyone would like it for the cost of postage I'm happy to send it.

Would be nice if the recipient gets his wheel done at Royals and then put the spare back into circulation for other people . Just a thought :)

Tony.

@Sean d I'm pretty sure it's a single stage airbag as it's an early E36 style steering wheel with the "triangular" airbag like the one below, except mine is beige

It's yours then mate, although it does need a refurb, but if anybody can, you're the man

@GazHyde is it worth changing this thread to "steering wheel exchange" and making it a sticky thread? It's a great thing the guys have started and I'm sure there will be more exchanges in the future including my own.

Very kind offer on the forum and i would have taken you up on that. Currently got the sport wheel on but the M style wheel is nicer. Good on ya.

Ayup pal, I realised today that I have a spare off the 2.2 that I am breaking so no need for another one, someone else is welcome to it

Love this idea wish it had been going when I decided to get mine done as I had to buy a spare, that said I now have the one I took off my car so this can also go into the free to some one who is looking to have there’s done at Royal steering wheels or where ever.
