My 93 4cyl 1.9L Z3 stock plugs are copper (idk anything about cars so pls bare with me)
from what I've read-- Platinum spark plugs last longer?

Can someone link me to platinum spark plugs that go with my 97 4cyl z3?

from what i've read the platinum spark plugs in terms of performance drops, but they last longer
i'm not hung up on speed of the car, so i choose longevity over going fast

These are the correct NGK plug for the 1.9 I believe but please check yourself, though there is a Bosch one listed in Real OEM as well. You wont notice any change in performance between copper & platinum. We get a discount with Opie Oils Type ROAD in the discount box.
Personally I always use iridium plugs. 🤷‍♂️

Niall, what iridium plugs do you use, and is there a noticeable difference in performance on a 6 pot? Need to change them on my 3.0

Just put the correct OEM part number in google with iridium and you find them I always use NGK No discernible difference in performance but was once told by a high end mech they were better with life span??? Who knows, it's just become habit to use them.

Cheers Niall. Was looking at those or the Denso equivalent. Surprisingly cheaper delivered from the states on rockauto.com !
