Passed MOT last Friday, hurrah. Got six advisories, mind, two front flexibles, two lower arm rear bushes, and two bits of manky metal brake pipe at the rear end, should be able to splice in a bit of new pipe on the ends. So what do you do when given advisories on brake hoses when you're already refurbing brakes? Colour matched hoses, of course.:) And the wheels came out shiny, shame it's been persisting down all day,:( makes me go and hide in the dry every now and again. And drink tea.:):):)

And if you're wondering why anyone should repaint their wheels, this is how they were before. Utterly kerbed, by the previous owner, I hasten to add.

I like that wheel design, looks possibly a bit too big for a Z3 but could just work well as they have that ‘twist’ to the spokes.

I’m pretty certain they were an optional wheel fitted to the 335 coupes.
But as these are 18’s and not staggered it could well be reps with the lack of badges (I thought they only came in 19). Being 18 they easily fit the Z then...

Did find something similar on the felgenkatalog but not quite the same. The Z's on 19s already, but they'll be coming off sometime soon for a bit of a tidy-up. Seems I found a lump of dry-stone wall a while back:arghh: :banghead: whilst getting out of the way of a tractor one dark night and did a bit of kerbing myself. Bu88er. There's a BMW colour that they call "Dark Graphite", think that'll be the choice for them. Brakes may be going the same lairy/sporty yellow, too. Sod discrete, says I.:)
