A friend left me his car to try and sell it for him as I get a good passing traffic at home, however that can be a bad thing.Just over 2 years ago a drunken polish land worker from the next village smashed down the wall outside my house and drove off (he had spun the car and hit it with the rear end). At that time my Z had been standing where the red Seat is as I was halfheartedly "trying" to sell it,

up until about an hour before he hit the wall and his wheel tracks passed over where my Z was parked. This morning Shirl was in the kitchen and heard an almighty screech of tyres outside and waited for the crash to follow, it never came and as she found when she went outside, a young woman had "lost" her car on the short dual carriage way past our house and had gone through our next door neighbours front hedge and missed my friends Seat by about 20 feet.

Been here since we got wed in 1980 Dave, I would think over the last 34 years there have been probably 15 to 20 such incidents and several close calls too.
BTW I will get some pics of those exhaust tips, I've left myself a note in the kitchen to remind me tomorrow morning.

I would leave the Seat where it is.
If that gets hit no big deal, if the wall gets hit it will cost you a hell of a lot more money.

I would install a 250mm pipe filled with concrete and steel reo in my yard at a strategic location. Let 'em hit it all they want.

I also have a stone wall which has been hit several times and has cost me $750 to repair so I set up 2 large sandstone pillars, one which has been hit already! I feel sorry for the person that hit the rock! LOL.

I could not say otherwise to be frank M&S. If someone had wanted to pay what I put on the car it would have gone and I wouldn't be here tonight, but I had been "fairly" optimistic with my valuing ( don't tell Shirl tho.) I'm very glad I still have the old beasty, I love it to bits.
