I have a snow foam lance, from cleanyourcar.

Its a great piece of equipment.

It takes a while to get the correct solution mix.

But when you do it's amazing.

It's a prewash treatment. Lets you soak the car in a foamy degreaser and start shifting the stuck on stuff.

In theory it makes it easier to wash off the worst before your wash mitt touches the paint work.

Correct gaz, but I never get mine that dirty.

I just use fairy liquid and a yard brush..... gets most of the dirt off.

Try a brillo pad for the more stubborn dirt, works a treat

Thanks guys, sounds like its not that much different to the detergent that plugs into my pressure washer. Don't let the zed get that dirty, so I will stick with a straight hand wash (pressure washer is for the Freelander - the poles won't wash that for a fiver!)
