Smokers Pack

Whilst looking at the original list of optional extras that my 1999 Z3 came with, I noticed the term Smokers Pack.
Now, I would imagine all Z3s came with a cigarette lighter and the ash tray in the centre by the handbrake, so what the hell is a Smokers Pack?
Did it come with 20 Bensons in the glove compartment?
Was there a chimney in the original soft roof?
The only thing I can think of is I have ash trays in the doors, are these standard?
If everyone has ash trays in the doors then I'm at a loss to what a smokers pack is.

If anyone can enlighten me I'll be pleased to know.

sorry cant help you there, my trays in the doors are coin holders so maybe some did have ash trays in the doors

i think deano had a smokers pack, but his started somewhere in the boot, took him ages to sort it out

Yes I have, it's called cr@p fuse from Halfords, causes all sorts of smoke.

No not all Z3's came with an ash tray and cig lighter, my Z3M for example didn't and where the ashtray would be is an oddments tray and the cig lighter socket just has a plastic plug instead of an actual lighter, the 12v socket is still there for accessories but no lighter.

No ashtray in the middle console just 2 oddments holes one small one large.
Does have cigar lighter next to gear stick for my sat nav charge which I catch when changing gear
Drivers door panel does have a coin holder.

That's a coin holder in the door pocket. As above ash tray & cig lighter aren't standard and has to be specified on your order. At least in the UK anyway.

This would make sense Aceman, I just assumed the ashtray and cig lighter were standard in all cars of that age.

Mine has smokers pack as above means you get ashtray in console other options are oddments tray or cup holder

If you have not got the nicotine pack in your car, as I had, never smoked in the car though, you will probably have this.

when I bought a new mini cooper in 2011, a smokers pack was one of the options, one ashtray and one cig lighter

Morning @smiffy, I always have to laugh at the glued down ashtray lids in the arms of the seats on the turboprops.
Remember smoking in them in the 80's.

it wasn't so anti-social in those days. I gave up just as I got old enough to legally buy the damn things, then turned into the worlds worst non-smoker! nothing worse than an ex-smoker!
