Long story, but Simota sent the wrong parts when I purchased the induction kit. They shipped me the correct part and didn't want this bit back. No idea what car this should have fitted as it has no markings at all on it.

There is a light scratch on it where it clamps to the rest of the unit. Can't really measure it, because it isn't any real kind of shape.

I really have no use for this, or know if it has a monetary value. If someone wants to make me a reasonable donation to MNDA I will post it to you (free).

I bet you could custom fit that to a non S54 zed using the correct diameter and length hose to make it fit flush with the back of the headlight.

Ps an S54 would need MAF mounting as its built into the OEM air box on that engine.

Gotta be a project for someone ?

Re: Simota Carbon Fibre part

To be honest Jonttt I managed to fit the Simota kit with this for a test drive before the correct part arrived.

It was a little tighter than the correct part, but the key issue was the lack of the side fixing. There is a bolt in the correct part which allows you to anchor it to an earth connector. Stops it wobbling side to side.

On my s50 I didn't bother fitting that bracket as it was that tight a fit it did not need it. Get the hose length right and rammed up to the back of the headlight as it should be and it may be ok ?
