As far as I'm aware it's a rebuilt A series 1.3 MG Turbo Andy. He has spent considerable amounts on having it done by a pro.

I have a 1990 1.3 'A' series Metro, one lady owner and just 1.809 miles on the clock, genuine. Not seen the road in my ownership let alone Silverstone!

1800 miles! Bet the seals are shot, does it still look like a new one Adrian?

No all the rubber seals are fine, looks and smells like new still, original tyres, brochures etc. Bodywork immaculate. Was ziebarted from new and has since dried out to the extent that the ziebart on the floorpan has started to fall off leaving pristine white paint. Hadn't been run for 14 years when I bought it, no stuck clutch or anything.
